We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications. This role requires strong expertise in JavaScript coding and the STIBO STEP platform, with experience working in an Agile framework. The engineer will collaborate with business stakeholders, contribute to architectural solutions, and perform code reviews, while delivering scalable and high-quality software solutions. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain technical components (interfaces, workflows, reports, conversions).
- Write and document code to meet business and technical requirements.
- Contribute to design and architecture discussions, ensuring scalable solutions.
- Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure alignment.
- Support Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
- Release software into production and support quality assurance activities.
- Continuously reduce technical debt and decommission legacy solutions.
Required Skills:
- 3–5 years' experience with JavaScript coding.
- 3–5 years' experience with the Step platform (or similar workflow/automation platforms).
- Experience working within an Agile framework.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to validate and confirm requirements.
- Comfortable working as an individual contributor while collaborating with technical teams.
- Ability to design architectural solutions and perform code reviews.
Nice-to-Haves:
- STIBO certification.
- Experience with ERP or SaaS solutions (e.g., SAP, Relex, Manhattan Active WM, IBM Infosphere MDM).
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL, ORM frameworks).
- Additional programming languages (Java, Python, C#, etc.).
- Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and data structures/algorithms.
- Experience implementing Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
