Position Overview: Do you have a passion for animals and a natural talent for customer service? We are seeking a warm, organized, and enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our hospital. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our clientscreating a smooth, friendly, and professional experience from the moment they walk through our doors or pick up the phone.

Responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

• Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
• Process invoices payments
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history
• Determine the status of the patient's immunizations and tests
• Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient's arrival and necessary treatments
• Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian
• Accurately input data into computer software

• High school diploma
• Weekend availability as needed
• Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds
