Logistics Coordinator CLT (Afterhours)

This postion will require both 2nd and 3rd shift availability and you may be required to alternate between the two from week to week.

Dash Courier & Logistics Services , a high volume 24/7/365 on-demand courier service, is accepting applications for an Afterhours Logistics Coordinator to assist with various duties related to Dispatch, Customer Service, Order Entry, and branch support responsibilities for all markets during the Afterhours shift (hours would be in shifts between 2 PM & 7 AM located in our Central Dispatch in Charlotte, NC . There are currently 2nd shift and 3rd shift opportunities.
Preferred candidates should be flexible, adjust to various responsibilities, able to multitask, and work under pressure.
Additional info:
· Experience with Logistics/Customer Service in a high-volume setting. (Preferred)
· Familiarity with the geographic regions of NC and SC to aid in understanding the dispatching of work efficiently to drivers. (Preferred)
· Experience with Order Entry from phone and email orders. (Preferred)
· Experience in the Courier and Logistics industry with progressive responsibility. (Preferred)
· Proficient with computers and office related software. (Preferred)
· Communicates regularly with employees/customers/drivers.
· Able to take direction, follow instructions, and have good communication skills - using phone, email, and order event notations.
· Possess good decision-making skills.
· Applicant must have own reliable transportation to get to the office daily.
You must have a professional appearance, clean criminal background, a good MVR, and no felonies or DUI's in the past 7 years. A 3rd party group will conduct a background check and drug screening.
Job Types: Full-time (40 hours/Overtime if needed)
Shift: Afterhours (Flexibility for weekday evenings, nights and weekend evening/nights).
