System Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Concord, NC. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in supporting and validating laboratory systems while ensuring they align with QC processes and regulatory requirements .

Rate Range: $26/hour to $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

System Administrator job responsibilities include:

• Support, configure, and maintain laboratory systems (e.g., Empower, LIMS) to ensure accurate and compliant QC testing operations.

• Translate quality control business processes into technical requirements and implement effective IT solutions.

• Ensure laboratory systems remain validated, compliant with regulatory standards, and aligned with GMP expectations.

• Collaborate with global system teams to prepare laboratory systems for operational readiness, including documentation, SOPs, and training.

• Troubleshoot, prioritize, and resolve technical or operational issues while maintaining system stability throughout its lifecycle.

• Produce and maintain project, validation, and change‑management documentation to support audits and ongoing compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

• 4–6 years of experience working with laboratory information systems in a GMP/pharma environment.

• Strong working knowledge of QC laboratory IDS systems such as Empower, LabVantage, or LIMS.

• Solid understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV) and regulatory/compliance requirements for QC labs.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
