In-Home Design/Sales Associate

Good's Home Furnishings is looking for a highly skilled designer/sales associate who can provide our clients with superior design assistance, including In-Home and In-Store work while also developing design project leads by participating in the community (chamber events, community and in-store design events, Realtor relations, etc.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with designing and selecting furniture/accessories for their homes
• Entering quotes/sales into POS system
• Updating clients on orders and time frames
• Participating in lead generating activities to grow prospects for design projects
• Assisting with keeping store well-presented and sales aids up to date
• Responding quickly to questions from corporate, management, or warehouse operations
• Opening/closing of store front as needed.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED required, and minimum of Associate Degree or 5 years of relevant work experience in retail sales or interior design experience. Computer skills that include Microsoft Office Suite applications, along with prior proficiency (or demonstrated aptitude) with retail operating systems.

Communication Skills

This position requires effective oral and written communication to clients, direct reports, other associates and management personnel, along with the ability to make connections quickly with others.

Organization Skills

This role requires excellent organization and planning skills.

Compensation

Base Plus Commission with the option to move to full Commission later if you choose. Excellent earning opportunities and bonus plans/contests that allow for extra earning potential.
