Your Role:

As a Receptionist , you are often the first person the customer sees or speaks with in the dealership. As a result, you have an opportunity to make a strong, professional impression on every customer you come in contact with in a way that reflects not only upon the dealership, but upon the entire brand.

Your role is to welcome customers to the dealership, to direct them to the person who can best meet their needs and to monitor the flow of customer traffic in the showroom and on the lot.

As part of your commitment to deliver an exceptional experience, you are expected to meet or exceed dealership objectives. In order to accomplish this, discuss the following success indicators with your management team:

• Greeting all customers promptly and professionally.
• Ensuring that customers receive accurate, prompt assistance and acknowledging that assistance during management follow-up calls.
• Preparing customer data for entry into your dealership’s traffic management program or customer database to ensure that it is up-to-date and complete.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

As Receptionist, you are expected to treat every customer as you would a guest in your home. The Receptionist’s responsibilities generally include the following:

• Creating a first impression;
• Gathering accurate information;
• Responding to customer questions and concerns;
• Creating an engaging work environment;
• Answer calls on a multi-line phone system professionally and politely while directing and transferring the calls accurately;
• Delivering an exceptional experience.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Have a pleasant phone voice and speak proper grammar;
• Be detail oriented and hold strong organizational skills;
• Must work effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure environment;
• Have the ability to work independently and in a team environment;
• Exhibit a neat, clean and professional appearance;
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office;
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow-up consistently;
• Must be able to meet the company’s requirements for employment;
• Must have flexible work schedule. Monday-Friday with occasional weekends.
