Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours
- Every other weekend required
- Flexible schedule to meet department needs
- No block scheduling
Desired Qualifications
- Active RN license and required credentials: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS by start date; ENPC within 90 days
- Minimum two years of nursing experience, with at least one in an ER setting (Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke center, or >100,000 annual ED visits)
- Commitment to excellent patient experience: AIDET, respectful communication, proactive updates
- Team-oriented, skilled at real-time coaching and feedback
- Flexibility to float within all ED areas; open to new technologies and diverse patient populations
- Adherence to navy scrub dress code
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care in a busy Emergency Department (101 beds)
- Manage patient ratios typically 4:1 (medical) and up to 7:1 (ED behavioral holds)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including techs and unit clerks
- Utilize Cerner documentation system and advanced medical equipment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and cross-training
