Job Title: Delivery Driver
Role Summary
As a Delivery Driver, you play a critical role in delivering products to customers safely, accurately, and on time. You will operate a company vehicle, interact directly with customers, and represent the organization with professionalism on every stop.
This role requires flexibility, accountability, and pride in your work. Daily responsibilities may vary based on business needs, making adaptability and a team first mindset essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Vehicle Operation
Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all driving and safety standards
Driving activity is monitored through in cab camera systems
Follow all DOT regulations and vehicle monitoring policies
Loading and Unloading
Manually load and unload products using proper lifting and handling techniques
Secure products to prevent damage during transport
Delivery Execution
Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
Verify orders against delivery manifests
Unload products, confirm order accuracy, obtain customer signatures, and collect payments when required
Order Verification and Documentation
Accurately acknowledge delivery manifests and paperwork
Properly document returned parts and issue receipts as required
Customer Interaction
Maintain a professional and courteous presence with customers
Address basic customer questions and ensure a positive delivery experience
Collect accounts receivable when applicable
Compliance and Safety
Maintain compliance with all safety standards, DOT regulations, and company policies
Maintain a valid driver’s license, clean motor vehicle record, and active DOT Medical Card
Additional Responsibilities and Flexibility
Based on business needs, Delivery Drivers may also assist with warehouse and logistics operations, including:
Loading, unloading, picking, and staging materials
Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and hand trucks
Assisting with inbound receiving, order picking, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy
Picking, labeling, packing, and preparing goods for outbound delivery or shipping
Organizing warehouse inventory and maintaining clean, orderly storage areas
Helping prevent inventory shortages, mispicks, and product damage
Completing basic data entry and record keeping related to inventory and deliveries
Assisting with other duties as assigned as business needs change
Qualifications
At least one year of professional driving experience
Valid driver’s license with a good standing motor vehicle record
Active DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain and maintain one
Ability to follow safety standards and operating procedures
Professional appearance and adherence to dress code expectations for a customer facing role
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and sitting throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and climb in and out of the vehicle multiple times per day
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus

Shift & Hours:
Monday-Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm (8-10 hour shifts depending on volume of work)
Compensation:
Hourly rate $19
