  • Develop and deliver training for administrators, directors, and managers on employee relations, documentation, policy application, and legal compliance.

  • Partner with executive leadership and legal counsel on high-risk employment matters and proactively identify opportunities to reduce organizational liability.

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive Human Resources experience with significant responsibility for employee relations, workplace investigations, and employment law compliance.

  • Healthcare, skilled nursing, long-term care, or multi-site healthcare experience strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations issues.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, and wage and hour regulations; North Carolina employment law experience preferred.

  • Experience managing unemployment claims and coordinating workers' compensation programs.

  • Strong analytical, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion.

  • Professional HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is strongly preferred.
