We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Consumer Affairs Representative I at our Southern Pines, NC facility. This is a hybrid, salaried, overtime-eligible role with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Employees work remotely on Mondays and Fridays , with in-office days Tuesday through Thursday.

As the first point of contact for our customers, this position plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service, resolving inquiries, and representing our brand with professionalism and care.

This role includes a structured step-increase program designed to support development and reward performance:

• Starting Salary: $39,000 annually
• Scheduled Pay Increases: At 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months , based on performance and tenure

We are looking for individuals who are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Answer, process, and document incoming phone calls, e-mails, and letters from retail consumers in a fast-paced call center environment
• Learn, demonstrate, and apply knowledge of small appliances
• Crosstrain on specialty brands to support consumer phone and email inquiries, including white glove customer service
• Provide light troubleshooting and sales assistance where needed
• Order and Warranty Support
• Complaint Resolution & Retention

Requirements of the position include:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Six months of customer service experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills with experience in data entry, e-mail, and the Internet across multiple systems
• The ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
