Blessed Oasis Pet Resort is currently hiring for a full-time Pet Boarding Attendant to provide care, medication, food, and a clean environment to dogs being boarded at our facility in the Fayetteville, NC area. This animal care position earns a competitive wage of $15/hr .

DAY-TO-DAY

This is a seasonal position, with full-time hours available during our peak seasons: May - September, and November - January. Given that we are a hospitality business, you must be able to share weekend and/or holiday responsibilities with team members .

In this animal care position, you help ensure that each animal guest stays in clean accommodations, enjoys regular meals according to their individual needs, gets plenty of exercise, and even has opportunities to safely socialize with other guests. The position requires the attendant to lead a dog playgroup (playgroup consists of running / jumping / playing / tossing a ball or frisbee). This job requires the employee to be very energetic, doing things such as running and playing with the dogs, feeding the guests, cleaning and rotating, etc. Cleanliness is one of the first things that families notice upon touring our facilities. You clean and sanitize all kennels and areas both inside and out, regularly removing any pet waste.

You also provide meds to animal guests who need them and keep accurate and up-to-date records. As good with people as you are with their pets, you regularly interact with families during drop-offs and pick-ups. You love working with animals for a living and take great pride in ensuring that each pet receives the best possible care !

REQUIREMENTS

• 18+ years old
• Ability to walk dogs of all sizes on leashes
• Comfortable working in and around animal hair and dander
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Available to work some weekends
• Reliable form of transportation
