Reports to: Unit Manager
Hours/week: 20

Classification: Non-Exempt
Effective Date: February 2025 PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS In performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees of Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina are expected to conform to the following:
- Uphold all principles of confidentiality to the fullest extent.
- Adhere to all professional and ethical behavior standards of the tribal government.
- Interact in an honest, trustworthy, and respectful manner with employees, Tribal members, visitors, and vendors.
- Participate in departmental staff meetings, quality management activities and educational programs.
- Comply with Lumbee Tribes policies and procedures.
- Maintain a current insurable drivers license.
- Facilitate specific activities that relates to the core areas of:
- Sports fitness and recreation
- Character and leadership development
- Visual arts, performing arts and social skills
- Education and career development
- Health and life skills
- Maintain the upkeep of the building.
- Responsible for transporting club members from site to site.
- Monitor the activities of the club members to ensure a safe environment.
- Communicate and collaborate programs status updates and upcoming activities and program needs.
- Participate in orientation, training and other personal and professional development related to assigned responsibilities.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Experience:
- 1 3 years of prior work experience with tribal, social or community based youth services.
- High School Diploma
- The successful candidate must possess good communication skills, the ability to relate to diverse populations, organizational skills and positive working relations with both internal and external agencies and programs.
- A valid NC Drivers License is required.
- Applicant/Employee must also be willing to obtain a valid CDL license within (90) of hire.

This position is subject to a criminal history background check, and a Motor Vehicle check. Candidates must successfully pass all required background checks in order to qualify for this position. Drug Screening:
All applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening prior to beginning employment and will be subject to random drug testing.
