Director of Parent Engagement & Advocacy, Alpha - $200,000/year USD

LOCATION NOTE: This is an on-site position based in one of the cities listed below, with local travel required. Relocation support is provided.

You will represent your campus, spearheading enrollment growth, relationship building, and community advocacy. You'll facilitate impactful information sessions, cultivate meaningful local connections, and translate interest into sustained waitlist growth. But the role extends beyond recruitment. You'll serve as the primary resource for families during their entire Alpha experience—resolving issues, fostering loyalty, and transforming parents into vocal advocates for the model.

This is a role defined by trust and autonomy, with tangible accountability. You'll be stationed at one campus, present on-site regularly, and responsible for measurable results—not simply executing a playbook. What You Will Be Doing

• Managing the complete parent journey—from initial contact through sustained engagement—for a single campus
• Delivering persuasive information sessions and individual consultations that transform interested parents into dedicated supporters
• Acting as the main parent liaison—addressing concerns, enhancing satisfaction, and ensuring every family feels valued and supported after enrollment
• Establishing trust and visibility through consistent on-site engagement, local community partnerships, and targeted outreach efforts
• Mobilizing parent advocates to expand referrals and strengthen community influence

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Using formulaic sales scripts or impersonal outreach methods
• Handing off relationship cultivation to campus personnel or operating from a support-only position
• Allowing organized parent committees to compromise or weaken Alpha's educational approach
• Working remotely—this role is fully immersed in the parent experience and the local community

Director Of Parent Engagement & Advocacy Key Responsibilities

Lead enrollment growth and family retention at your campus by cultivating high-trust parent relationships from initial inquiry through sustained satisfaction and active advocacy.

Basic Requirements

• Currently reside within commuting distance of one of these campuses, or are willing to relocate to: San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; Roswell, GA; Bethesda, MD; Charlotte, NC; Austin, TX; Brownsville, TX; Fort Worth, TX; or Kirkland, WA.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• 5+ years of experience with families in educational outreach or enrollment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to earn trust and guide sophisticated decision-making
• Deep belief in Alpha's accelerated, high-expectation learning model

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
