Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator - Asheville, NC
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team in Asheville, NC. This role involves coordinating multiple research protocols and acting as a liaison with local investigators and sponsors. You will work under direct supervision to gain a solid understanding of research operations and regulations, ultimately achieving a fundamental understanding of human subject research. The position operates Monday to Friday, with shifts from 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm.
Responsibilities
- Practice and adhere to the 'Code of Conduct' philosophy and 'Mission and Value Statement'.
- Complete routine operational activities for multiple research protocols.
- Serve as a liaison between site research personnel, industry sponsors, and supervisors.
- Collaborate closely with various site departments and teams, including finance, hospital administrative representatives, and local IRB when applicable.
- Coordinate the schedule of assessments from the initial submission of feasibility until study closeout.
- Review study design and inclusion/exclusion criteria with physicians and patients.
- Ensure the protection of study patients by verifying informed consent procedures and adhering to protocol requirements.
- Ensure data integrity on Case Report Forms or other data collection tools through careful source document review.
- Create study-specific tools for source documentation when not provided by sponsors.
- Collect, complete, and enter data into study-specific case report forms or electronic data capture systems.
- Generate and track drug shipments, device shipments, and supplies as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Clinical research coordinator experience is required.
- Knowledge of CRC and IRB processes required.
- Clinical study management.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Asheville, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
