Machine Operator - Specialist III: Brazing - 2nd

Join as Robert Bosch Tool Corporation in Lincolnton, NC. The position is full-time and the starting date is according to arrangement.

Your tasks include supporting the startup and implementation of the brazing operation of a new production line in the existing Lincolnton, NC facility. During startup, you will learn first hand the process and support to develop the local work instructions and standards. This position will require extended overseas travel for training. You will actively communicate with related departments, train and monitor new production associates, and be responsible for loading/unloading, operating, adjusting, changing over, maintaining multiple machines, conducting 5S, and aiding in trouble-shooting. You will be responsible to reach the daily targets and escalate in case of deviations.

Your profile includes a high school diploma or GED, technical or vocational schooling a plus. You should have 3 to 5 years previous experience in brazing processes or similar. You should have computer skills including Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, the ability to learn and understand new processes, machines, and technology, flexibility to work in different shifts, overtime, ability to stand and be mobile for 8 hours, proper hand dexterity, ability to read and follow instructions, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, math skills appropriate to a machining environment, ability to read product prints and check product to match, proficiency in the use of measuring devices, setup machine using basic hand tools and measuring devices, identify and assess common problems with machine, trouble-shooting, read and follow standard operating procedures, and understand and follow procedures pertaining to machine cleanliness and tool organization.
