Heavy Equipment Operator
The ideal candidate will enjoy solving problems, working as part of a team and working towards a common goal. Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of equipment to meet production targets.
- Comply with all company and site-specific policies and procedures.
- Perform routine inspections, safety walk-arounds, and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Maintain equipment in good operating condition and reporting of maintenance requirements.
- May perform other job site duties as required based on job site needs.
- Respect and follow leadership and directions from assigned foreman.
- Treat co-workers, subcontractors and customers with respect and professionalism.
- Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment, including excavators, dozers and off-road trucks.
- Sense of urgency and ability to respond to changing situations.
- Ability to adapt, prioritize and complete projects in a changing construction environment.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- The ability to travel within 60-75 miles of greater Charlotte Metro Area.
- Pass a pre-employment background screening.
