Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic finance professional who views accounting as more than just numbers. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly financial close process, including journal entry review, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare financial information for consolidation into broader corporate results.
• Oversee internal and external audits and ensure SOX compliance.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and remediation plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to accounting policies and documentation standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance through cost reduction, cash flow improvement, and strategic decision-making.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to eliminate manual tasks and enhance efficiency.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Serve as a key liaison with other departments to align accounting operations with broader business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment or with a public accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of balance sheet and P&L relationships, with a solid foundation in U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with SOX compliance, including control documentation and effectiveness assessments.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor team members.
• Familiarity with ERP and consolidation/reporting systems.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
• Experience managing audits and serving as the primary contact for external auditors.
• Demonstrated leadership and a desire for continued professional growth.
