Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school, providing support within an inclusion classroom setting for grades K-6. This role offers a contract-to-hire opportunity, ideal for educators passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments and supporting diverse student needs.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education certification
• Experience working with students in grades K-6, preferably in inclusion settings
• Strong classroom management and collaborative skills
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• mitment to working onsite full time

Location:

• Henderson, North Carolina

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to a caseload of approximately 15 students with special needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and specialists to create inclusive learning experiences
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual student goals
• Participate in team meetings and maintain detailed documentation in pliance with educational regulations
• Part-time hours, working 10-15 hours per week across five days, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM onsite
