We are seeking applicants for an Accounts Payable Clerk with a great company in Greensboro. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies

• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to facilitate timely payments

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

• Prepare and process ACH, wire, and check payments

• Maintain organized vendor files and update records as needed

• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and resolve inquiries

• Assist with month-end closing and provide supporting documentation for audits

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices

• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current and flag overdue items

• Support process improvements to increase efficiency in accounts payable operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred

• 1+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
