Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students near Burlington, NC. This full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year begins August 18, 2026, and runs through June 10, 2027. With 37.5 hours per week scheduled Monday through Friday, you’ll play a vital role in helping students develop essential communication skills in a dynamic school environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active North Carolina SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Passion for supporting student development and collaboration with educational teams
• Commitment to onsite work, with a possibility of virtual options being considered later

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and help determine eligibility for services
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and other specialists
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and document therapies
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations
• Consult regularly with families, educators, and related service providers to maximize student growth
