Description:
The Business Account Executive sells services and products to prospects by understanding the clients’ business technology needs and recommending products to meet those needs.
•Generate new business through prospecting, networking, leads and referrals
•Develop relationships with business owners and key decision makers
•Analyze customer needs, uncovering their challenges
•Present technology solutions that help drive business results
•Consistently deliver sales targets every month
•Educate and excite customers about our innovative business solutions
•Understand needs and assist in developing solutions in the IP-networking, cloud, security, mobility, professional services and advanced communications spaces
•Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Service, and other internal departments to drive product improvement and to ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the customer lifecycle
•Build and refine internal processes for seeking efficiencies in both time and client management
•Track progress and provide comprehensive reports to key stakeholders as needed
•Responsibilities to include other duties and functions as decided by management What You Bring to the Team:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred; high school diploma/GED required
•Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
•A minimum of 3-5 years related to business-to-business sales experience
•Demonstrated experience working with or in small/medium size businesses
•Technology sales experience preferred
•Interest and understanding of technology products and services
•Foundational knowledge of IP protocols, network topology, and enterprise software solutions
•Telecommunications experience preferred
•Strong prospecting, sales and negotiating skills
•Achievement-driven, self-motivated, trustworthy and can quickly adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
•Must be positive, authentic, solution-oriented team player with a good sense of humor
•Strong relationship building skills, coupled with listening and selling skills to help you see the “big picture” and develop creative solutions to your client’s challenges
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills to include: demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues succinctly and ability to create and conduct effective presentations
•Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle competing priorities
•Ability to be innovative, strategic and think critically, while also being hands-on with the work
•Desire to grow personally and professionally
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
•Ability to meet physical requirements of bending, stooping, lifting, sitting, and standing. Ability to use computer/keyboard and general office equipment, and ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to drive to business customer locations and company meeting locations.
