Purpose of this role
The incumbent is responsible for the outsourcing of retail call coverage plans and distribution services for JTI USA in line with the company's strategic objectives. Maintain open lines of communication between vendors and internal partners to address and promptly act on any discrepancies. The incumbent would track vendor deliverables and service agreements to ensure accountability and mitigate potential risks while upholding organizational standards. This position is internal and based in our headquarter office with direct ties to the field sales force and chain account team. Areas of Responsibility
Strategic Direction- Establish goals and objectives while aligning on expectations for vendor partners
- Develop and implement effective audit process to ensure scope of work is meeting expectations
- Ongoing evaluation of vendor partners to ensure organizational needs are met
- Strategic implementation of 3rd party vendor coverage plans
- Outline key initiatives and direction for both internal and external partners
- Contract negotiations with external partners while keeping organization obligations in mind
- Cultivate vendor partnerships while holding them accountable to achieve the established KPI'S
- Effectively monitor expenditures while tracking against agreed upon project with proper documentation
- Effective utilization of budgets to have efficient and effective return on investment
- Work closely with JTI sales force to ensure coverage needs are being met on a timely basis
- Develop and implement execution documents for clear direction of field sales force and vendor partners
- Create support materials that clearly defines instore initiatives
- Adequate training of 3rd party personnel that cover retail stores
Who Are We Looking For - Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of working with 3rd Party vendors
- Preferred experience with both supply and demand planning
- Exposure and understanding of offshore production and import logistics is desirable
- FMCG organizational experience preferred. Must be able to form recommendations and drive business solutions based on available information and processes
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- Must be computer literate with strong MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) experience
- SAP or other ERP system experience required
