As a **Security Officer - Financial Lobby Patrols** in **Cary, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for staff and visitors. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
+ Assist with access control and visitor management procedures as required by site policies.
+ Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support the overall security-related objectives of the location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
