Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in a combined Interventional Radiology and Cardiology lab setting in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Position Details:

Shift: 5x8 Days (07:30–16:00)

40 hours per week

No block scheduling

Float: None

Call: Required

This is a combo IR/Cardiology lab with approximately 90% Interventional Radiology cases and 10% cardiology procedures. Techs assist providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, maintaining sterile field, and procedural monitoring. Medication administration is performed by RN only.

Call Details:

Weekday Call: 16:00–07:30; twice weekly for two weeks per month

Weekend Call: Friday 16:00 – Monday 07:30; one weekend per month

No call the week after weekend call

30-minute callback time required for STEMI

Call team consists of three staff members including one RN

Additional coverage may be required based on departmental needs

40 hours (40–80 hours possible)

Techs begin directly on unit on Mondays until Dimensions training is completed

Compensation:

Gross Weekly Pay: $2,706.00

W2: $36.50/hr

Total Weekly Stipend: $1,246.00

• Licensure/Certification: ARRT (R) or RCIS required. BLS and ACLS required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. MUST have Interventional Radiology experience (90% of cases are IR).
• Skills Required: Scrub and circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures, telemetry monitoring, sterile field maintenance, assist with diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.
• Call: Required per posted schedule (weekday and weekend rotation).
• Scheduling: 5x8 Days (07:30–16:00); no block scheduling.
• Floating: None.
• RTO/Holidays: RTO after booking not allowed; up to 7 days auto-approved if not on holiday; no RTO first week; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Compliance: Lab within 48 hours of signing; testing completed within 48 hours.
• Vaccine: Flu required (medical/religious exemption only); COVID not required.
• Radius Rule: Perm address under 50 miles may be offered lower local rate.
