Job Title: Travel RN – Stepdown / PCU (Staffing Pool)

Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for a Stepdown / PCU staffing pool in a high-acuity hospital setting. This role involves providing intermediate-level care to patients transitioning from ICU, requiring strong clinical judgment and the ability to adapt quickly across units.
Ideal candidates are confident, flexible, and thrive in fast-paced environments with varying patient assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in Stepdown / PCU units
- Monitor and manage patients with complex, high-acuity conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to patient status changes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Float within the staffing pool based on unit needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure adherence to patient safety and care standards

Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of RN experience in Stepdown / PCU / Telemetry
- Active RN license (required at submission)
- BLS & ACLS certifications required
- Strong experience with cardiac monitoring and post-ICU care
