Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a technical or engineering field

• 10+ years of proven experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment

• Strong experience with financial analysis in a maintenance setting (Agristats)

• In-depth experience with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)

• Strong knowledge of USDA regulations on sanitation, pre-operations guidelines, and plant operations

• US Citizenship / Permanent Residency / Green Card required

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineering Leader to drive equipment reliability, maintainability, and operational excellence across manufacturing assets. The role will focus on design for maintainability, preventative maintenance strategies, and improving equipment uptime while reducing lifecycle costs .

The successful candidate will build and sustain a strong maintenance culture that aligns with operational goals and evolving consumer demand.

Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Strategy Engineering

• Develop and implement Design for Maintainability (DfM) principles for plant equipment and assets.

• Create and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.

• Optimize equipment design, precision standards, sanitation, and maintenance accessibility .

Project Leadership

• Lead and coordinate complex engineering projects ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

• Work on large-scale technical initiatives requiring innovative engineering solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and maintenance.

Operational Excellence

• Investigate and resolve equipment failures and work-in-process issues .

• Monitor and report on equipment performance, maintenance metrics, and project progress .

• Drive initiatives that improve equipment uptime and reduce lifecycle asset costs .

Compliance Safety

• Ensure compliance with USDA sanitation standards and regulatory requirements .

• Maintain strong HACCP compliance across plant operations .

• Support food safety, sanitation, and operational guidelines across manufacturing processes.

Experience Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or relevant technical field (preferred).

• 10+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing environments.

• Prior poultry processing experience preferred , though other manufacturing sectors will be considered.

• Demonstrated experience managing large maintenance operations and engineering teams .

• Strong expertise in:

  • Agristats financial analysis

  • HACCP programs

  • USDA regulatory compliance

  • Preventive and predictive maintenance systems
