We are hiring a seasoned Executive Chef to oversee culinary operations in Atlantic Beach, NC . Position Summary

As Executive Chef, you will direct all back-of-house functions, from concept-driven menu creation to daily production oversight. This role requires both hands-on kitchen involvement and strategic oversight to ensure consistency, profitability, and guest satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise all kitchen activities to ensure consistent food quality and presentation standards.
  • Design and refresh seasonal menus that align with guest preferences and local ingredient availability in Atlantic Beach, NC.
  • Recruit, mentor, train, and schedule culinary staff to maintain a cohesive and high-performing team.
  • Monitor food costs, control waste, and manage purchasing processes to meet budget objectives.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and OSHA guidelines.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a high-volume dining establishment.
  • Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop culinary teams.
  • Proven expertise in menu engineering, food cost analysis, and inventory oversight.
  • Thorough understanding of North Carolina food safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
