Process Improvement Engineer
Process Improvement Engineer for a leading packaging manufacturing company based near Denver, NC. This role is responsible to drive continuous improvement on coating assets, operator engagement/development and safety. This is a direct hire job opportunity. Relocation assistance is available. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Must have 5+ years in process improvement experience within a manufacturing environment
- Must have 3+ years experience within the coatings, adhesives, polymer, or related industry
- Knowledge of coatings, including formulation, application, and performance testing.

salary: $120,000 - 140,000 per year
work hours: 8am to 4pm

- Oversee the coating and material manufacturing through commercialization of innovative coating solutions
- Drive continuous improvement on coating assets, operator engagement/development and safety
- Lead risk assessments of equipment to drive safety improvements using skilled engineering practices
- Oversee daily operations activities and process driven improvement projects
- Work with maintenance on machinery enhancements as well as troubleshooting and upgrades
- Monitor and analyze process data, using insights to recommend and implement improvements in coating processes and technologies.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and work with management on capital investments
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors (required)
