Electromechanical Technician

- 2-2-3-2 rotating 12-hour shift schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Initial 4–12 week training period: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with motors, drives, controls, and power distribution systems
- Experience with sensors (proximity, photoelectric, encoders, pressure, temperature)
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation
- Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, mechatronics, or HVAC
- Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial controls is highly desirable
- Deep troubleshooting expertise to identify root causes, not just symptoms
- Mechanical and electrical proficiency in integrated electromechanical systems
- Detail-oriented approach to installations, repairs, and calibration
- Safety-focused mindset with knowledge of OSHA and NFPA 70E standards
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures
- Self-motivated and accountable with ability to work independently
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control systems including motors, VFDs, servo drives, relays, switches, transformers, and circuit breaker panels
- Work with PLCs (ladder logic a plus), HMIs, and automated control systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical blueprints
- Install, wire, and calibrate electrical components according to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain and troubleshoot sensor systems such as proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, encoders, and tension control sensors
- Diagnose and repair precision alignment, calibration, and material handling systems
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on press machines
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components including pumps, cylinders, bearings, drive systems, and material feed mechanisms
- Maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Diagnose root causes of equipment failures using systematic troubleshooting methods
- Use technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and manufacturer resources to solve complex problems
- Identify opportunities for equipment improvements and reliability enhancements
- Document all maintenance activities using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Track repairs and manages work orders through the CMMS
- Communicate effectively with operators, management, and external vendors about equipment status and resolution timelines
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime
- Follow all safety protocols including lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and PPE requirements
- Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Handle materials and chemicals safely according to established SOPs
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment working with press machinery, electrical systems, and automated control equipment
