Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is hands-on and essential to keeping production equipment, machinery, and plant systems operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have significant industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production and plant equipment.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Support preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.

Work on industrial machinery, conveyors, CNC equipment, overhead cranes, and fabrication systems.

Read and interpret electrical diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and technical manuals.

Use meters, test lights, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.

Participate in safety audits and report unsafe conditions promptly.

Collaborate with team members and communicate maintenance needs clearly.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and work performed.

Position Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy ­equipment environment.

Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and 3-phase electrical systems is required.

Ability and willingness to walk over and stoop under workhorses and machinery.

Capable of frequent squatting, stooping, bending, and standing throughout the shift.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and to push and pull as part of equipment work.

Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when required.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position is full-time, on-site. Work is physically demanding in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varied temperatures. Safety compliance and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory.
