Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000

Total Compensation Opportunity: Quarterly performance bonuses based on project profitability - strong performers consistently earn $80,000-$91,000+ in total annual compensation.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Project Manager to join our construction division immediately. This is a high-impact role managing a $2-4 million portfolio of commercial landscape construction and enhancement projects in the Charlotte market. You will lead multiple crews, own the client relationship from kickoff to closeout, and operate as a driving force in one of TJL's core growth divisions.

This position is built for someone who is energized by complexity, takes ownership seriously, and wants to be rewarded in direct proportion to the quality of their work.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Lead Projects from Start to Finish

• Manage planning, scheduling, procurement, execution, billing, and closeout for a portfolio of commercial construction and enhancement projects

• Coordinate with Estimating on scope verification and material purchasing before each project kicks off

• Maintain real-time job documentation and crew communications in Aspire

• Process change orders accurately and on time

Own the Client Relationship

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned clients throughout the project lifecycle

• Communicate proactively - no client should be surprised by a schedule shift, scope question, or budget issue

• Coordinate with Architects, General Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and Municipalities as required

Run the Numbers

• Own project budgets and drive to meet or beat established cost targets

• Track labor, material, and equipment costs in real time

• Manage invoicing milestones and closeout billing

Lead Your Crews

• Manage a minimum of four crews efficiently across concurrent projects

• Conduct regular site visits to maintain quality standards and address issues early

• Partner with Foremen to deliver safe, consistent, high-quality results on every job

WHO YOU ARE

• 3+ years of hands-on landscape construction or commercial construction project management experience

• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously without losing budget discipline or client trust

• Exceptional communicator - with crews, clients, GCs, and leadership

• Proficient with Aspire, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Zoom - or proven ability to learn new platforms quickly

• Valid North Carolina Driver's License with a clean MVR

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

• Physically able to work in outdoor environments and lift 50+ lbs.

Bonus points: Bilingual English/Spanish. Degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Science, or Construction Management. Experience coordinating with commercial GCs or municipal permitting.

• Must be able to commute to or relocate to the Charlotte, NC area

• Valid driver's license required

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• This is a full-time, in-person position
