Booking Agent: Corporate Events Sales (Account & Project Management Focus)

We are growing and looking to add a Booking Agent to our corporate events sales team. No prior booking experience required. We provide comprehensive training.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and advance inbound leads through our sales pipeline and CRM using a consultative sales approach. No cold calling.
- Act as a trusted consultant and project manager, guiding clients from initial inquiry through contract execution.
- Consult with corporate and university clients to assess business objectives, event strategy, audience needs, and budget.
- Deliver recommendations for speakers, celebrities, and entertainers aligned with client goals.
- Develop customized proposals, pricing options, and strategic solutions based on client requirements.
- Lead clients through consultation, offer development, contract negotiation, and close.
- Serve as the primary account manager and client consultant, managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Event Managers and internal teams to ensure end-to-end project success.
- Support business development and revenue growth through relationship-driven, solution-oriented selling.

Role Details
- Full-time, onsite role in Durham, NC. Hybrid opportunities are available after the training period.
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Base salary + commission structure
- Comprehensive training provided
- Competitive benefits, 401(k) with match, PTO, and growth opportunities
- $50,000–$60,000 base salary plus commission and bonus potential
