Adelphi is seeking dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologists to provide exceptional school-based services to students for a school district located in Johnston County, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will support students through evaluation, intervention, and collaboration with educational staff to meet Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals.

Requirements:

• Active or eligible North Carolina SLP license.
• School-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be eligible and verifiable through the NC licensing database.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff.
• Familiarity with IEP development and IDEA compliance.
• Must maintain licensure through the NC Board of Examiners and provide proof of eligibility if requested.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language services aligned with student evaluations and IEP goals.
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and prepare written evaluation reports.
• Develop and contribute to IEPs, including progress updates and performance goals.
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed.
• Deliver direct and consultative services per IEP requirements.
• Complete all documentation and Medicaid billing in accordance with district and state guidelines.
• Offer consultation and training to school staff.
• Attend required meetings and professional development sessions.
• Ensure active licensure and credential compliance.
• Adhere to state and DPI guidelines for school-based speech-language services.
