Location-Type: Hybrid (Tues–Thurs onsite, Mon/Fri remote)

Duration: 6 months (contract)

Compensation Range: $23-30/hr

Job Description:
Support the structural engineering team in reviewing and analyzing telecom tower infrastructure, preparing design documentation, and maintaining quality control processes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Review requests for engineering services and determine appropriate actions

• Analyze towers, mounts, and foundations using calculations and engineering software

• Generate detailed engineering reports for tower and mount modifications

• Review and resolve discrepancies in design and modification drawings

• Assess tower inspection reports and recommend remediation as needed

• Maintain accurate engineering and sales support data

• Respond to technical inquiries within defined areas of responsibility

• Perform additional engineering or documentation tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering field

  • EIT (Engineer in Training) or EI (Engineering Intern) certification preferred

  • At least 1 year of experience in telecom tower design, steel structure construction, or structural engineering

  • Working knowledge of TIA/EIA-222 code

  • Experience with structural analysis and CAD software

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • Membership in professional engineering organizations

  • Field or construction engineering experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
