Resident Specialist - Security Deposit/Move-Out
- Confirming resident move-out dates and collecting accurate forwarding information
- Coordinating with the Asset Management team on pending and completed move-outs
- Preparing Statements of Deposit Accounting (SODAs) with attention to detail and accuracy
- Processing ledger charges in the CRM system
- Partnering with Accounting on checks, mailings, and financial tasks
- Responding to move-out disputes and inquiries with professionalism and care
- Assisting with surety bond claims and related approvals
- Maintaining knowledge of company policies and ensuring compliance
- Delivering excellent customer service across phone, email, and written communication
- Collaborating with cross-functional team members and supporting ad-hoc projects
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus
- 1–2 years of experience in property management, leasing, or customer service (ideal for those early in their career)
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM systems a plus
- Professional, discreet, and customer-focused approach
- A self-starter who thrives in both independent and team settings
- Real estate license is not required but considered a plus
