Behavior Technician

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

As a Behavior Technician, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality, individualized care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by a licensed professional.
• Supporting clients during assessments and contributing to individualized treatment strategies.
• Accurately collecting and recording data on client progress and responses to therapy.
• Maintaining timely and compliant documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and consistent care.
• Assisting with client evaluations and participating in treatment planning.
• Providing guidance and support to families to help carry over strategies in the home environment.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in behavioral therapy or a related field preferred
• Experience working with children or individuals with behavioral challenges strongly preferred
• Basic understanding of medical terminology, assessments, and clinical documentation
• Knowledge of HIPAA standards and a strong commitment to confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Spanish-speaking / bilingual preferred
