Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 public school in Jacksonville, NC is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position covering the upcoming school year. The role focuses primarily on supporting preschool caseloads across 1-2 school sites, providing comprehensive speech and language services to young learners. This opportunity is ideal for professionals experienced in early childhood speech therapy who can mentor and support a Clinical Fellow in the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for preschool and school-aged children
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on communication development
• Provide direct speech therapy services to students with a range of communication needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote student success
• Mentor and support a Clinical Fellow to ensure effective clinical practices and professional growth
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with preschool and K-12 populations
• Ability to manage caseloads at multiple school sites
• Strong communication and mentoring skills to support clinical fellows
• Knowledge of IDEA and special education regulations
