SAP PP/MM configurator

Overview: We are seeking a skilled SAP PP/MM Configurator to manage and enhance our SAP systems, ensuring they effectively support our global manufacturing operations. This role involves a blend of daily operational tasks and strategic project-based initiatives, requiring both technical expertise and strong collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support the SAP MM/PP modules to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Handle data migration tasks using tools such as LSMW and facilitate process improvements across various global sites.
• Support and implement integrations with third-party systems and document processes thoroughly.
• Provide user training and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver system enhancements.
• Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, production, IT, and global site teams to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Coordinate testing and deployment of system changes and support cross-location rollouts.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP MM/PP implementation and support.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and SAP system design.
• Proven project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with tools like Manhattan SCALE, Kinaxis, or GIB is a plus.
• Exposure to Lean or continuous improvement methodologies and experience in a global manufacturing setting is advantageous.
• Additional language skills are beneficial.

Location: The position is based in Raleigh, with the flexibility of remote work options available. Occasional travel may be required.
