**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, faculty, staff, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the educational location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or situations that may arise within the educational environment.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or providing directions as needed.
+ Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and/or other site-specific emergency actions.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
+ At least six months of security-related experience is required.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
