SBA Home North Carolina - The first production facility in the USA by SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from EU member in Lithuania, with operations starting in late 2025. Over 250 talented professionals will work here and build their careers. It will be a highly robotic and automated factory with products reaching millions of homes in the US. Today we are looking for a Facility Technician who is motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to support our production and maintenance teams with expert electrical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor electrical systems and utilities to support energy efficiency and system reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate work with contractors and vendors as directed.
• Respond to electrical issues, breakdowns, and emergency maintenance needs as required.
• Electrical distribution systems (panels, switchgear, transformers, UPS)
• Lighting systems, including interior, exterior, and emergency lighting
• HVAC electrical components and controls
• Compressed air systems (electrical support)
• Dust extraction and air filtration systems (electrical support, control cabinets)
• Fire protection and Life Safety Electrical Systems
• Material handling systems (conveyors, dock equipment)
• Security, access control, video surveillance and alarm systems
• Support for plumbing, water, and environmental systems as related to electrical controls

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Journeyman or equivalent electrical experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial or facility electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and time management skills.
