Job Opportunity – Infectious Disease Physician – North Carolina
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Inpatient coverage with approximately 20 patients per day; will rotate between two facility locations
Highlights:
- 52-week contract (approximately 1 year) with competitive hourly rate
- Inpatient setting managing complex infectious disease cases including sepsis, osteomyelitis, and endocarditis
- EPIC EMR system in place
- Advanced Practice Provider support available at one location
- Adult patient population with varied infectious disease presentations
- Overtime and holiday pay available at 1.5x normal rate
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Infectious Disease
- Active North Carolina medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- Current DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Previous Infectious Disease training and experience required
- Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
