Grandfather Golf & Country Club is hiring seasonal Server Assistants to support our Servers throughout our Food and Beverage operation. We are in search of polite, friendly people, who enjoy repetitive tasks and procedures and work well with others. The positions requires careful adherence to well defined work. Both the content and the presentation of the work are important and must be highly polished.

Responsibilities:

• Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely and efficient manner.
• Clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
• Cleaning and maintaining dining areas to ensure they are presentable and welcoming.
• Providing excellent customer service to our guests by answering questions and fulfilling special requests.
• Responsible for set up and break down of various club events.
• Assisting with other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in the food service industry preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy trays for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and carry trays, dishware, glassware, and other service items up to 30 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions as needed
• Ability to work quicly and efficiently in a fast-paced dining environment
