Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Manson, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Bring strong communication, integrity, and teamwork while delivering a caring, reliable presence in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and movement within the location, verifying access permissions and reporting policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior.
• Support order at the location by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related checks, escorts, and incident follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
