This assignment in a high-acuity Emergency Department allows you to contribute to a hospital recognized for both clinical excellence and safety, including national awards and a coveted Magnet Designation for nursing. Schedule:

• Every other weekend required
• Flexible to meet department needs

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum two years of nursing experience, including at least one year in a fast-paced ER
• Experience in Level 2 trauma centers with >100,000 annual ED visits preferred
• Certifications (required by start): ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS; ENPC within 90 days
• Strong teamwork mentality, adaptability, and real-time feedback skills
• Willingness to float to all areas within the Emergency Department

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a 101-bed ER
• Maintain patient ratios typical of a busy trauma center (4:1 on medical, up to 7:1 on behavioral holds)
• Use advanced technology including Baxter pumps and GE monitors; document via Cerner
• Uphold patient experience standards including AIDET communications and respectful behavior
