Congressman Chuck Edwards seeks a proactive, highly motivated, politically minded, community-focused executive assistant to join our team. Key responsibilities will include planning, scheduling, and attending activities with the Congressman while he is in the district, serving as a personal assistant, and coordinating administrative duties. Excellent writing, organizational, and driving skills are required. Candidates should have strong communication and time-management skills, the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to coordinate with the WNC and DC teams.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain relationships with local elected officials, community organizations, businesses, and constituents to ensure strong engagement with the district.
• Create social media content, letters, and news articles.
• Monitor and assess district-specific issues and concerns, providing timely updates and recommendations to the Congressman and senior staff.
• Assist in handling casework inquiries by directing constituents to appropriate federal agencies and resources.
• Work with the communications team to develop local messaging and highlight the Congressman’s work within the district.
• Track and report on key district developments, including economic, infrastructure, and policy-related issues.
• Drive and staff the Congressman when he is in the district, ensuring smooth logistics and scheduling support.
