responsibilities:

• Lead quality engineering strategy and execution across four squads building Angular + Java applications.
• Create robust automated frameworks, tools, and tests using Cypress.io, Cucumber, and Karate.
• Partner closely with Software Engineers, SDETs, and Product Managers to understand features, usage patterns, and risk areas.
• Ensure full requirements ? test cases ? executions traceability using Jira/Xray.
• Identify, document, and close gaps in test coverage, ensuring high confidence releases.
• Develop and maintain regression suites aligned with real-world customer scenarios.
• Integrate automated tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to enforce continuous quality.
• Use GitHub and GitHub Copilot to streamline development and testing workflows.
• Champion quality-centric methodologies and scalable automation practices across all teams.
• Mentor engineers in automation, tooling, test strategies, and quality mindset.
• Drive continuous improvement in reliability, performance, and release readiness.

qualifications:
Strong experience as a QA Lead on medium-to-large engineering programs or multiple squads.

Hands-on expertise with:

Cypress.io, Karate, Cucumber

Automated testing for Angular + Java full-stack applications

Deep understanding of test architecture, automation strategy, and modern QA practices.

Solid finance domain knowledge, ideally supporting portfolio construction or similar domains.
