We are currently hiring a Packer to do light machine operation at a local manufacturer. You must have longevity at past employers and a safety mindset

salary: $22 - $22.01 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

The packer will focus on packaging rubber and powders. Light machine operation on a machine that will break down foam rubber into small pieces

Job Duties:

Assist with powder shipment preparation

Assist with material handling and process runs

Basic Qualifications:

H.S. Diploma/ GED

Experience in a technical field

Mechanical orientation in a process and/or production capacity

General computer familiarity

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in the powder processing field, a plus

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to be on your feet most and/or all of the shift and perform physical duties which include lifting up to 50lbs.

Additional Info:

On-site, Mon-Fri, 8am – 5pm

Rate: $22/hr

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time

Skills

• Machine Operator (2 years of experience is preferred)
• Forklift (1 year of experience is preferred)
• Inspecting
• Packing (3 years of experience is required)
• Order Filling
