Substitute Christian Weekday Preschool Teacher
Summary Objective: Serve as a flexible and reliable team member to help provide care, supervision, and engaging learning activities for infants and preschool-aged children in a Christ-centered environment. Substitutes are contacted the week prior to confirm their availability for the following week’s schedule.
Reports to: Lead Teacher and/or Director

Position Details:
- Part-time position of less than 40 hours per week
- Hours vary based on classroom needs and substitute availability
- Scheduled weekly based on availability confirmed the week prior

- Assist the Lead Teacher in daily classroom routines and activities.
- Support children’s growth through play, learning, and creative exploration.
- Provide classroom coverage when staff are absent, following lesson plans and daily schedules.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Foster positive relationships with children and families in a Christ-centered atmosphere. Requirements Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- CPR/First Aid training (or willingness to obtain) Nice To Haves - Early childhood credentials (preferred but not required) Benefits
