Production Supervisor
So, what will you be doing as Production Supervisor?
- Monitor processes to verify conformance to specifications and direct adjustments needed to avoid or correct issues
- Obtain product samples and perform quality testing
- Visually inspect product for such defects
- Adjust product formula to maintain product quality standards
- Plan and schedule employees for tasks required
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department or work crew
- Generate work orders as needed
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
- Maintain time and production records
- Ensure all employees are adequately trained to perform tasks
- Responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
- 3-5 years industrial experience
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and writing skills
