As a Data Scientist supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), you will play a mission-critical role in advancing the modernization of intelligence operations through the strategic use of data analytics and artificial intelligence.

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of data science, software engineering, and national security, designing scalable solutions in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. You will be responsible for developing and deploying sophisticated analytical models and AI-enabled tools that drive smarter GEOINT collection strategies, automate intelligence workflows, and significantly enhance mission effectiveness. You will lead and execute complex analytical tasks with minimal supervision, leveraging your expertise in Python and AI tool development to create operational-grade capabilities that address real-world mission needs. You will collaborate closely with government stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, translating mission challenges into innovative data solutions while maintaining high technical standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Or an Associate’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Or a Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Or a Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Solid experience in Python to develop and deploy AI/ML solutions for workflow automation, data analysis, and mission-focused intelligence operations

Desired:

• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt tools and techniques to dynamic mission requirements, with proven experience deploying AI solutions reliably and securely into operational environments
• Experience working with various intelligence types (e.g., GEOINT, OSINT, SIGINT, ELINT, MASINT, HUMINT) to support multi-source data fusion and analysis
• Familiarity with geospatial tools and platforms (e.g., JEMA, Brewlytics, ArcPro) to enable advanced spatial data analysis
• Understanding of GEOINT collection methods and NGA/NRO systems to design data science solutions aligned with operational workflow
• Proficiency with common programming languages (e.g., R, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, etc.) to build scalable, data-driven applications
• Expertise in advanced AI technologies (e.g., NLP, LLM integration, RAG development) to develop applications that automate complex tasks and enhance data retrieval
